The first book I chose to read was Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. I chose this book because I had read the first book of this series which was The Hunger games. So I just decided to read the second book of the series which was this one. Plus it was one of the books the teacher recommended. Another reason I chose this book is because I really enjoyed reading the first one so I thought maybe this one would be as good as the first. So far its good and it has started off fast. My sister had read this book a year ago and she recommended it also so I wanted to read it. My sister had a copy of this book so I just got the book from her. Another reason I chose this book is I plan on reading the third book of the series which is the last one and its called Mocking Jay so you kind of need to read the first two in the series to know whats going on in the third.

Post 1- Why I Read

I read because it takes you away from reality. Also I read because its interesting sometimes. To be honest I dont like reading that much. I usually dont read for pleasure. I usually read when I have to. There is only one genre that will make me read for pleasure. That is biography I like sport biographies because I can usually relate to them because I also play sports. Also because sports interest me a lot. But still I dont usually read biographies for pleasure. I also read because I have to read normal day stuff like experation dates, writing on a worksheet, etc. So I dont just read from a book. I read things on a daily basis its just not always from a book. Im not that good at reading but im not bad. I read kind of slow to get all the information soaked into my brain. So it usually takes me a while to finish a book since im a slow reader. Overall I dont really love to read. But I can sometimes enjoy a good biography
